Childish Gambino Cast as a Vampire?

Donald Glover a.k.a. rapper Childish Gambino a.k.a. Troy Barnes from NBC comedy series Community has already managed to make headlines this year by appearing as Hannah’s boyfriend, Sandy in HBO’s scandalous series Girls. So what’s the newest item on Glover’s resume? In case being a rapper, producer, comedian, and actor wasn’t enough, he recently nabbed a spot on Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake. As a young comedian, Glover has built a solid portfolio. If you’ve managed to avoid Girls and Community, I’m sure you’ve heard of a little show called 30 Rock where Glover got his first big break as a comedic writer.

This  is not the first time the Childish Gambino has lent his voice talents to an animated character. Last year he and fellow rap mogul Tyler the Creator teamed up to make an appearance in another CN cartoon, The Regular Show. In his guest spot on Adventure Time, Gambino will be playing Marshall Lee, the musical male Vampire counter part to Marceline the Vampire Queen. How cool is that? The episode will air on Feb. 18, 2013 and is called ‘Bad Little Boy’. Watch the preview clip below:
