Shorty Award News: What Makes a Great Campaign Video?

This week a few of the BN College Award Leaders have shot the forefront of the race and are practically tied! But don’t forget, the top SIX finalists of the most interesting and relevant categories are the ones who go to the final judgement round in front of the Real Time Academy. The RT Academy, which includes personalities like Charlie Sheen, MC Hammer and Whitney Port, will choose winners based on relevance and engagement from the most popular and interesting featured categories. One way to get noticed is with a ROCKIN’ campaign video like the one we posted last week from BUCom. What makes a great campaign video? Here’s a look at some past and present ones that stand out:

Ole Miss ShortyAward Campaign Video 2

Mario and Fafa the Groundhog vs. Bieber DJ Campaign Video 3

FAU Owlsley Sports Team & Mascot Campaign Video 1

What did we learn today? Charlie Sheen, music, puppets, and owls are awesome… and if you put a lot of work into your campaign video it shows! Keep it up and tune back in next week for more Shorty Awards updates as we get into the final two weeks of voting.
