Geeks We Love

Today is Embrace Your Geekness Day. I am celebrating by openly day-dreaming about the final scenes of the new Harry Potter movie. For those not as forthcoming about their inner-geek as I am, I have compiled a list of my favorite TV geeks.

Doogie Howser, played by Neil Patrick Harris, is a teenage doctor and prodigy, need I say more?

On ‘Family Matters,’ Steve Urkel was a stereotypical geek with his constant snorting and suspender-clad outfits.

Betty Suarez on ‘Ugly Betty’ may lack fashion sense, but her brainy ways make up for it.

Penelope Garcia: The ‘Criminal Minds’ character makes computer science not only fascinating, but super-cool as well (or at least I think so).

My favorite these days has got to be Dwight Shrute. Though he is losing his friend and sidekick Michael Scott, I have no doubt he will continue with his geeky ways.

Who would you add to this list of geeks we can’t help but love? Share your favorites with us below!
