15 Reasons We Love Fall

Saying goodbye to summer isn’t easy, but fall has plenty of fun things in store for us that we absolutely can’t wait for. As a college student, it’s possibly the most exciting season! Not convinced? Check out our top 15 reasons why we love fall.

1. Beautiful Campuses.

There’s something magical about walking through campus among trees covered in shades of reds and yellows. It’s an instant mood booster!

2. Crunching Leaves.

Speaking of these beautiful trees changing colors, we’re not afraid to admit how excited we get for that oddly satisfying feeling of crunching leaves beneath our feet. Walking to class somehow becomes a lot more entertaining!

3. Tailgates.

Good friends, some tasty food, and the perfect spot right outside the stadium… What more could you ask for?

4. Football Games.

What’s a tailgate without a football game? Football season is possibly the most exciting time to be a college student. Campus is practically overflowing with school spirit!

5. Sweater Weather.

The more layers, the better! Curling up in your favorite knit sweater is a feeling that can’t be beat – especially after a long day of classes.

6. TV Marathons.

Some of the best TV shows start up again during the fall, and it’s the perfect time to watch them! No one is going to judge you if you choose to spend a chilly night indoors binge-watching Netflix.

7. Fuzzy Socks.

That’s right – it’s totally acceptable to break out the fuzzy socks once fall begins! Lounging around your dorm is about to get so much better.

8. Pumpkin Season.

We’ll admit it – we’ve hopped on the pumpkin spice bandwagon and can’t get enough! Whether we’re munching on a pumpkin flavored snack or enjoying the sweet scent of it in a seasonal candle, we’re kind of obsessed!

9. Perfect Temperature.

Trying to get a good night’s sleep in your dorm room during the summer can be tough with muggy weather, and walking to class in the winter is often brutally cold. Fall is the happy medium we all love.

10. Halloween Movies.

Halloween season comes with the best movies. We don’t know about you, but we’re totally pumped for “Hocus Pocus!”

11. Bonfires.

Colder nights don’t mean you’re confined indoors. Fall is bonfire season for a reason! Just don’t forget the s’mores and ghost stories.

12. Coffee.

Besides the fact that coffee now comes in all of our favorite fall flavors, it’s also suddenly more comforting! Grabbing a warm cup of coffee on a chilly fall morning is life changing.

13. Fall Activities.

You might have to say goodbye to those summer beach trips and dips in the pool, but you can say hello to apple picking, hayrides, and pumpkin carving! It’s a fair swap, in our opinion.

14. Halloween Candy.

Halloween candy has no age limit. When else can you guilt-free keep a stash of candy in your room?

15. Winter Break is Almost Here.

It might not be here yet, but it’s something to look forward to! When the fall semester starts getting tough, just remind yourself of the nice break you’ll get once your hard work is done.
